Mouret is surrounded by 30 acres of woodland and fields. A country lane runs at the bottom of the property; it is used by a local farmer and walkers.

Some stunning walks start and finish at the house one of which is rated as one of the most beautiful walks in Lot and Garronne. Five 100km cycle loops also pass close to Mouret taking in some of Gascony's most beautiful villages and vistas.
